Donations in kind

Donate food and supplies

Food and supplies are vital to our work. We pass everything on to shelters and organisations where the need is greatest, so that every donation ends up in the right place.

We always urgently need dry cat food. We prefer larger quantities: our volunteers cannot cross the whole country for a single bag of food. Only have a small amount? Get in touch anyway: there may be a volunteer near you where you can drop it off.

Frequently asked questions

How do I offer food or supplies?

Email donaties@sanco.org with what you would like to donate and how much, ideally with photos. We prefer larger quantities. Only have a small amount? Get in touch anyway: there may be a volunteer near you where you can drop it off.

Which food and supplies can I donate?

Unopened or properly resealed dry and wet food, treats and chews, and supplies in good condition: beds, blankets (fleece preferred), litter trays and cat litter, leads, harnesses, food and water bowls, toys, scratching posts, crates and grooming supplies. We always urgently need dry cat food. See the full list.

Can I donate medication, even if it has expired?

Veterinary medication, flea and tick treatments, dewormers and medical supplies are very welcome. We accept unopened medication up to two years past its expiry date, but not opened liquid medication that has expired. Everything is assessed and used by licensed veterinarians.
